Nicholas Black is a graphic and web designer with clients ranging from professional firms in Scotland through a private Riad in Morocco to a beauty specialist in Greece. Trained in art and design at Leith School of Art and Glasgow School of Art in Scotland, Nicholas later qualified as an architectural technologist. He worked for Michael Laird Architects (MLA) in Edinburgh for nine years, initially combining a graphics role with work as an architectural technologist. In time, Nicholas was given responsibility for all print design and document production for the firm.
Nicholas left MLA in 2003 to establish NBGraphics, building a wide and ever-growing client base for both graphic design and web design work. In early 2008 he decided to head to Calgary, Canada to initially seek work and follow his dream of skiing the Rocky mountains. In June 2008 Nicholas became a part of the team at BOND Creative and KADG respectively, furthering his experience and rising to meet the new challenges of Environmental Graphic Design and Branding.
